Beechcraft, founded in Wichita, Kansas in 1932 by Walter and Olive Ann Beech, along with Ted A. Wells, is an iconic American aircraft brand now part of Textron Aviation. Known for rugged and versatile aircraft, the company’s legacy began with the historical Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing. Today, Beechcraft is best known for its line of turboprop and piston aircraft, particularly the King Air series. Well-known current products include the Beechcraft King Air 260, King Air 360, and King Air 360ER. Historically, the brand was also a division of Raytheon and later Hawker Beechcraft.
