The PA-30 Twin Comanche is a twin-engine, four-seat, light aircraft manufactured by PIPER Aircraft. Introduced in 1963, the Twin Comanche was developed from the single-engine Piper PA-24 Comanche and is known for its efficiency and speed. PIPER Aircraft has a foundational history in American aviation, beginning with the Taylor Brothers Aircraft Company in the 1920s. Under William T. Piper, the company, later reorganized as Piper Aircraft Corporation, became famous for producing affordable, mass-market general aviation aircraft like the J-3 Cub, and later, the versatile Comanche series.
A range of platforms and access solutions—including the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, and Easyraise—help facilitate detailed access to the PA-30.
These solutions address maintenance across multiple aircraft sections. For the Nose Section, they provide access for Radome, Antenna, and Nose Avionics checks. For the Forward Fuselage, they support Cabin Access and lighting systems maintenance. The Landing Gear (NLG + MLG) areas benefit from stands for Main Landing Gear inspections. Platforms ensure stability around the Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area for tasks such as Wing Box inspections and Oil Maintenance. For the Wing & Engine Pylon, Cantilever Platforms are ideal for detailed work on the Engine (Inlet/Exhaust), Engine Body, and Undercowl. Finally, access solutions aid General Access across the aircraft, essential for methodical, full airframe maintenance.
