PA-11

The PA-11 Cub Special is a foundational light aircraft, introduced by PIPER Aircraft shortly after World War II, serving as a transitional model between the J-3 Cub and the highly successful PA-18 Super Cub. PIPER Aircraft traces its history back to the Taylor Brothers Aircraft Corporation, founded in 1927. William T. Piper purchased the company in 1937, establishing the company that became a legendary name in general aviation. The PA-11 built upon the trusted Cub design, featuring a fully enclosed cowl and a move toward more performance and comfort.

A range of platforms and stands assists with maintenance access for the PA-11. For the Nose Section, Modular Stepover Platforms and Platform Ladder Warthog provide access to the Engine. The Cantilever Platform is useful for the Wing & Engine Pylon area, addressing tasks like access to the Engine and Hydraulics.

The Ultraraise and Super Service Stand are essential for Landing Gear maintenance, specifically the Main Landing Gear. For the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, the Bridge Deck and Super Trestle Scaffold enable thorough work on the Wing Box and Fuel Tanks. Finally, for General Access tasks around the airframe, the A Frame Aviation Platform is an indispensable tool.
