The BD-700-1A10, commercially known as the Global Express, is an ultra-long-range, large-cabin business jet. This aircraft is powered by two Rolls-Royce BR710 engines and is recognized for its extensive range, enabling long-duration flights up to 6,500 nautical miles. The BD-700-1A10’s design provides a comfortable and spacious environment for up to 23 passengers, reaching a service ceiling of 51,000 feet.
The manufacturer, Bombardier, launched the Global Express program in December 1993, with the high-speed configuration finalized by June 1994. The company has a foundational role in aerospace, developing various business and commercial aircraft. The BD-700 series established a new segment in the business aviation market.
