Wytwórnia Sprzętu Komunikacyjnego “PZL-Mielec” (WSK PZL-Mielec), now known as Sikorsky PZL Mielec, is a Polish aerospace manufacturer. Historically, PZL-Mielec was a major producer of aircraft, including the Polish-built variants of the Soviet Polikarpov Po-2 (as CSS-13), and later, the successful PZL M-18 Dromader agricultural aircraft. They also produced the PZL M28 Skytruck/Bryza transport aircraft. Currently, under Sikorsky ownership (a Lockheed Martin company), PZL Mielec is best known for being a key production site for components and complete aircraft, including the assembly of the S-70i Black Hawk helicopter for international markets.
