Scottish Aviation

Scottish Aviation was a British aircraft manufacturer established in 1935, primarily known for producing military and civil aircraft. Its most famous products were the Twin Pioneer, a high-wing STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) aircraft, and the Jetstream, a successful turboprop commuter airliner. The company also developed the Bulldog primary trainer. Scottish Aviation merged with British Aircraft Corporation, Hawker Siddeley Aviation, and Hawker Siddeley Dynamics to form British Aerospace (BAe) in 1977. While the brand no longer exists independently, its legacy lives on through the continued use of its historical aircraft by various operators and enthusiasts worldwide.
