North American Aviation

North American Aviation (NAA) was a pivotal American aerospace manufacturer founded in 1928, known for producing iconic aircraft throughout the 20th century. While NAA merged into Rockwell-Standard in 1967 (eventually becoming part of Boeing), it no longer exists as a standalone entity with “current products.” Historically, its military aircraft dominated, including the T-6 Texan trainer, the B-25 Mitchell bomber, the P-51 Mustang fighter, the F-86 Sabre jet fighter, and the Mach 3 XB-70 Valkyrie bomber prototype. The company also produced the Apollo Command and Service Module for NASA.
