Lancair

Lancair International, Inc. is a privately held aerospace company founded in 1981 by Lance Neibauer. The company is a leading manufacturer of composite homebuilt aircraft kits, pioneering the use of modern molded composites construction in light aircraft. The company has sold approximately 1,900 kits across 34 countries.

Well-known historical and current kits include the Lancair 200, 235, 320, and 360, which are two-seat designs. Later models include the four-seat Lancair ES and the Lancair IV. The Lancair 200, originally the “Lancer 200,” was first flown in 1984.
