Gerhard Fieseler Werke

Gerhard Fieseler Werke (GFW) was a German aircraft manufacturer active in Kassel during the 1930s and 1940s, primarily building military aircraft for the Luftwaffe during WWII. The company ceased aircraft production after the war, with part of the factory briefly producing automotive components.

Historical products are GFW’s most notable legacy. Their most famous products are the Fi 156 Storch (a STOL reconnaissance aircraft) and the Fi 103 (the RLM designation for the V-1 flying bomb). Other historical aircraft include the F2 Tiger acrobatic sportsplane and the Fi 167 torpedo bomber. GFW does not have well-known current aviation products.
