YMF WACO F5C

The YMF WACO F5C is a modern continuation of the classic WACO YMF biplane. The original Weaver Aircraft Company of Ohio (WACO), founded in 1919, was a leading manufacturer during the Golden Age of Aviation, producing over 60 aircraft models in 28 years. In 1983, WACO Classic Aircraft (formerly Classic Aircraft Corporation) revived the YMF, modernizing the design with over 300 engineering improvements while preserving its vintage aesthetic. The YMF-5C Super variant was certified in 1991. The YMF-5 series remains in production today, offered in land or amphibious configurations.

Specialized platforms and access solutions support detailed maintenance for this biplane. Equipment such as the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Ultraraise provide access across the aircraft. These products facilitate comprehensive work on the Nose Section (including the Windshield & Cockpit and Bulkhead) and General Access to the Forward-to-Aft Fuselage (AF-BF). Access is also crucial for the Main Landing Gear (MLG) and various sections of the Wing & Engine Pylon.
