YAK-50

The Yakovlev Yak-50 is a single-seat aerobatic aircraft, a low-wing monoplane featuring all-metal construction with retractable main landing wheels and an exposed tail wheel. Control surfaces are fabric-covered to minimize weight. Developed from the Yakovlev Yak-18, the Yak-50 first flew on June 25, 1975, and entered production shortly thereafter, with 314 units manufactured between 1975 and 1986. It served as a trainer and competition aircraft primarily with DOSAAF and was later superseded by the Yak-52 and Su-26.

Yakovlev, the manufacturer, is a foundational Russian design bureau with a long history of developing aircraft, especially trainers and aerobatic planes. The company played a critical role in Soviet aviation, producing numerous well-regarded designs.

A range of platforms and access solutions support detailed inspection and servicing across the Yak-50. These products, including Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Super Service Stand, provide crucial elevation. These access solutions facilitate work on critical areas such as the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit, Bulkhead), Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), Middle Fuselage (Wing Box, Fuel Tanks), and Tail Section (Vertical Stabiliser, Horizontal Stabiliser, Rudder).
