YA-1-250

The YA-1-250 is an aircraft model developed by Yeoman Aviation. Yeoman Aviation was an Australian company active in the mid-20th century, established in 1958. Its primary focus was the modification and production of agricultural aircraft, aiming to improve efficiency for crop dusting operations. The YA-1 model itself was based on a radical conversion of the De Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter, redesigned specifically for aerial application work.

The YA-1-250 continues this lineage. It is engineered for specialized maintenance, requiring methodical access for thorough inspections across all sections. A variety of platforms and access solutions are utilized to reach critical areas like the Wing & Engine Pylon (including the Engine, Fan, and Hydraulics), the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit, Bulkhead), and the Tail Section (Vertical Stabiliser, Rudder). These access solutions, such as Reach Deck Platforms and Modular Stepover Platforms, provide the elevation necessary for maintaining the aircraft’s agricultural systems and overall airworthiness. Other access products, including Super Trestle Scaffold and Cantilever Platforms, support detailed work on the Landing Gear and Fuselage areas.
