XA42

The XA42, marketed as the Sbach 342, is a German high-performance two-seat aerobatic and touring monoplane. XtremeAir GmbH, the manufacturer based in Hecklingen, developed the XA42 as the tandem-seat evolution of the single-seater XA41 (Sbach 300). The aircraft features a composite structure low-wing monoplane design and is powered by a 315 hp Lycoming AEIO-580-B1A piston engine. XtremeAir secured European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certification for the XA42 in March 2011.

Platforms and access solutions are utilized for methodical maintenance across the XA42. These tools, including the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog, support access for key aircraft sections. Access is also provided for the Landing Gear (NLG + MLG), Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area (Wing Box, Fuel Tanks, Oil Maintenance, Cabin Interior), Wing & Engine Pylon (Engine access, Undercowl), AFT Fuselage, and Tail Section (Vertical Stabiliser, Horizontal Stabiliser, Rudder).
