WIDGEON III

The WIDGEON III was a British light aircraft manufactured by Westland Aviation in the 1920s. This single-engined parasol monoplane was developed by Westland, a company with a long and diverse history in British aviation, established in 1915 to build military aircraft. The Widgeon series, including the WIDGEON III, was built in small numbers, reflecting Westland’s brief venture into the light civilian aircraft market before production was discontinued in 1929. The WIDGEON III variant was powered by a Cirrus Hermes II engine.

Access solutions are foundational for effective maintenance across this aircraft. Platforms and stands, such as the Super Service Stand and Cantilever Platform, support detailed and methodical servicing of critical areas. The Reach Deck Platform is suitable for work on the Forward Fuselage, addressing needs like Cabin Access or Lighting Systems. For the Wing & Engine Pylon section, where components like the Engine Body, Flaps, and systems like Hydraulics require attention, specialized solutions ensure first-class access. Vertical access equipment is also indispensable for reaching the Tail Section, particularly the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilisers and the Rudder, ensuring all areas of the aircraft are accessible for thorough inspection and upkeep.
