VAN'S AIRCRAFT RV-8

The VAN’S AIRCRAFT RV-8 is a tandem two-seat, high-performance homebuilt aircraft, succeeding the popular RV-4 design. It was created to provide a larger, updated tandem flying experience. The RV-8 first took flight in 1995, followed shortly by the tricycle-gear variant, the RV-8A, in 1998. This kit aircraft is renowned for its excellent aerobatic capability and impressive speed/efficiency balance, establishing itself as a foundational design in experimental aviation.

The aircraft is listed under the manufacturer ROBIN COSS Aviation. Access solutions are indispensable for thorough aircraft maintenance. Adjustable platforms and stands effectively provide access for tasks in the Nose Section, including avionics and windshield care, and the Forward Fuselage for lighting and cabin entry systems. For the Landing Gear and Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, stands and decks facilitate access to the main landing gear, fuel tanks, and wing box structure. Specialized platforms and ladders allow for comprehensive maintenance of the Wing and Engine Pylon, covering the engine body, fan, and control systems. The tail section’s vertical and horizontal stabilizers, along with general access areas, benefit from versatile access platforms for routine inspections and thorough maintenance.
