The V1000, developed by AMSL AERO, represents a significant advancement in Australian advanced air mobility (AAM) manufacturing. AMSL AERO is the sole Australian-based company focusing on this technology. Its prototype, Vertiia, has secured orders from general aviation operators, marking it as one of the few eVTOL manufacturers globally to receive cash deposits. Vertiia, which utilizes locally built components and Slovenian engines, achieved its first free flights in late 2024. AMSL AERO conducts its testing operations in Narromine, NSW.
Maintenance and inspection across the V1000 require specialized height access solutions. Platforms and stands support access across the aircraft.
For the Nose Section, access is vital for the radome, antenna, nose avionics, windshield, cockpit, and bulkhead. The Forward Fuselage requires access for the main entry door, cargo/baggage areas, lighting systems, cabin access, environmental control system, and forward wheel well access.
Detailed access is required for the Landing Gear (Nose and Main), and the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area for the wing box, fuel tanks, oil maintenance, cabin interior systems, Wi-Fi, and emergency exits. The Wing and Engine Pylon areas demand careful access for the pylon, anti-ice systems, engine components (inlet/exhaust, body, flap, fan, compressor, turbine, FADEC/EEC, hydraulics, fuel tanks/pumps, undercowl, and armpit).
Access to the AFT Fuselage is needed for the aft bulkhead, cargo, cabin doors, auxiliary fuel, environmental ducting, rear avionics, APU compartments, and rear inboard/outboard sections. Finally, the Tail Section (Empennage) requires solutions for the APU intake, generator, compressor, exhaust port, vertical stabilizer, horizontal stabilizer, and rudder.
