V-280 Valor

The V-280 Valor is a revolutionary tiltrotor aircraft manufactured by Bell. Bell, a foundational name in American aviation, has a long history of developing pioneering vertical lift aircraft, including the creation of the world’s first certified commercial helicopter. This tradition of innovative features continues with the V-280.

The V-280 Valor made its first flight in December 2017. Purpose-built to transform mission reach and effectiveness, the V-280 offers more than twice the speed and range compared to current weapons systems. In 2022, the US Army selected the V-280 as the proven long-range maneuver solution for the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft program, intended to replace the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk.
