UH-60A

The UH-60A is the foundational model of the Black Hawk helicopter series, a utility aircraft developed from the Sikorsky S-70 design. Its first flight was in 1974, and deliveries to the U.S. Army began in 1978. The UH-60A provided the Army with a hardened assault helicopter, which was later replaced by the more powerful UH-60L and advanced UH-60M models. Over 5,000 Black Hawks have been delivered since the program began, making it a foundational military aviation platform.

The manufacturer is Pickering Aviation.
