UC-35D Citation

The UC-35D Citation is the United States Marine Corps designation for the Cessna Citation Encore (Model 560), a multi-purpose, low-wing business jet. This aircraft is configured for passenger and cargo airlift, featuring two Pratt & Whitney PW535A turbofan engines mounted on the aft fuselage. It entered service as the UC-35D in 2001, with the final unit delivered to the Marine Corps in May 2006.

Cessna Aircraft Company, the manufacturer, has a long and storied history in aviation, dating back to Clyde Cessna’s early designs. Known for producing a wide range of general aviation aircraft, Cessna established a foundational role in the industry. The Citation series, first introduced in 1972, marked Cessna’s highly successful entry into the business jet market, establishing a lineage of popular and reliable executive transport aircraft that continues today.

Platforms and access solutions support detailed maintenance across this aircraft. These solutions address critical access points on the Nose Section (radome, antenna, and avionics) and the Forward Fuselage (Main Entry Door, cargo areas, and cabin access). Further access is required for the Landing Gear (Nose and Main), the Wing & Engine Pylon area for servicing components like the fan, compressor, and turbine, and the AFT Fuselage, which includes rear avionics and APU compartments. Specialized stands and platforms facilitate comprehensive servicing of the Tail Section (Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizers).
