UC-35C Citation

The UC-35C Citation is a multipurpose, low-wing business jet monoplane, serving as the U.S. military designation for executive transport variants derived from the commercial Citation Ultra and Encore models. The UC-35C features two pod-mounted Pratt & Whitney JT15D-5D engines on the aft fuselage. Known for its reliability and range, this aircraft is capable of accommodating passengers, cargo, or a combination of both. Its design is part of the widely successful Citation series, the most popular line of business jets globally, logging over 35 million flight hours.

Cessna, the manufacturer, holds a foundational place in aviation history. Founded by Clyde V. Cessna, the company officially moved to Wichita, Kansas, in 1927. For a large part of the 20th century, Cessna was a highest-volume producer of general aviation aircraft, recognized as one of the “Big Three” manufacturers alongside Piper and Beechcraft. Cessna introduced its highly popular 172 model in 1956, which remains the most-produced aircraft in history. The Citation brand continued this legacy, beginning in the 1970s and solidifying Cessna’s position as a paramount force in modern aviation.

A range of height access solutions facilitates methodical maintenance across the UC-35C. Elevated platforms and access stands address work requirements for the Nose Section (including the radome and windshield), the Forward Fuselage (such as the main entry door and cargo areas), Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), the Middle Fuselage (including the wing box and fuel tanks), the Wing & Engine Pylon (supporting access to the engine inlet, exhaust, and turbine), the AFT Fuselage, and the Tail Section (Empennage), ensuring comprehensive servicing of all critical components.
