U206C

The Cessna U206C is part of the distinguished Cessna 206 series, a six-seat, high-wing monoplane renowned for its utility capabilities. Often called the “sport-utility vehicle of the air,” the U206C is valued for its power, dependability, and capacity, making it a popular aircraft for bush flying, aerial work, and personal transport. The model is capable of operating with amphibious floats or skis.

Cessna Aircraft Company has a foundational place in American aviation history, recognized as one of the industry’s “Big Three” manufacturers alongside Piper and Beechcraft during the post-World War II era. Founded by Clyde Vernon Cessna, the company established a legacy of producing popular and accessible general aviation aircraft.

The original six-seat Model 206 was introduced for the 1964 model year, developed from the earlier Cessna 210. For the 1965 model year, Cessna rebranded the utility version as the U206 Super Skywagon. Production of the 206 series initially ran from 1962 until 1986, when the manufacturer temporarily ceased single-engine production. The model was re-introduced in 1998 and remains in production today, with thousands of units built across all variants.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for thorough and methodical maintenance of the U206C across all aircraft sections. Specialized stands provide access for the nose section, including avionics and the windshield. For the wing and engine areas, platforms are leveraged for servicing the engine body, inlets, and fuel systems. Access devices ensure technicians can safely reach the main and nose landing gear, as well as the middle and aft fuselage areas for interior work and tail section stabilization checks.
