Tu-334

The Tupolev Tu-334 was conceived as a narrow-body jet airliner, designed to replace older aircraft like the Tu-134. Introduced by the Tupolev Design Bureau in the early 1980s, its first flight occurred on February 8, 1999. It features a short fuselage and rear-mounted twin engines, differentiating it from the Tu-204 it was developed from, which has under-wing engines. Only two models were built between 1999 and 2009 before the program was cancelled when Tupolev was absorbed into the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).

Tupolev is a foundational Russian aerospace manufacturer, tracing its roots to the Soviet Tupolev Design Bureau (OKB-156) founded on October 22, 1922, by the aerospace pioneer Andrei Tupolev. The company was responsible for many notable Soviet aircraft, including the wartime Tu-2 bomber. Tupolev has operated as a division of the UAC since 2009.

A range of platforms and access solutions can support maintenance across the Tu-334. Modular platforms and scaffold address the Wing Box, Fuel Tanks, and Wing & Engine Pylon access points. Elevated stands are available for detailed maintenance on the Nose Section (Radome, Avionics, Windshield) and the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (APU and Stabilizer). Specialized access equipment supports the landing gear (NLG and MLG), Forward Fuselage components (Cargo/Baggage, Cabin Access), and general aircraft access.
