Tu-214СР

The Tu-214СР is a highly modified variant of the Tupolev Tu-214, developed specifically for the President of the Russian Federation to serve as an airborne commanding center. The aircraft is an advanced evolution of the Tu-204/214 series, which was certified against Russian AP-25 standards in 2000. The Tu-214СР first flew in 2008, with units delivered in June 2009 to the Presidential Special Applications Squad, replacing the long-serving Il-18.

Tupolev, the foundational Russian aviation design bureau, traces its origin to September 1922 with the formation of a commission dedicated to designing and developing all-metal military aircraft. Under the leadership of Andrey N. Tupolev, the company became foundational to Russian aerospace.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintaining this aircraft, addressing needs across all major sections. Platforms are available for the Nose Section (including the Windshield & Cockpit and avionics), the Forward Fuselage (MED, Cargo/Baggage, Cabin Access), and the Landing Gear (Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear). Access solutions also support the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, Wing & Engine Pylon components (such as the Fan, Compressor, and Turbine), the AFT Fuselage (APU Compartments and AFT Bulkhead), and the Tail Section (Vertical and Horizontal Stabiliser).
