Tu-204-120СЕ

The Tupolev Tu-204-120CE is a medium-range cargo airliner. This freighter variant is notable for being powered by Rolls-Royce RB211 engines and was the first Russian- or CIS-built aircraft to receive EASA aircraft type certification.

Manufacturer Tupolev has a long and storied history in Russian aviation. The design bureau developed the Tu-204 in the 1980s as a successor to the Tu-154 trijet, with its maiden flight occurring in 1989 and introduction to service in 1996. The aircraft family was designed to be broadly equivalent to the Boeing 757, offering competitive performance and fuel efficiency.

A variety of platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintenance across the aircraft. For the Nose Section (Radome, Windshield & Cockpit) and Forward Fuselage (Main Entry Door, Cargo/Baggage), access solutions like a Reach Deck Platform or Cantilever Platform are highly relevant.

For the Landing Gear, a Super Trestle Scaffold or A-Frame Platform assists technicians with the Nose and Main Landing Gear. Access solutions like Modular Stepover Platforms and Bridge Decks facilitate movement across the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area for tasks such as fuel tank inspection and cabin interior maintenance.

The Wing & Engine Pylon section, which involves extensive work on the Engine (Inlet/Exhaust), Hydraulics, and Undercowl, benefits from Super Maintenance Platforms and Super Service Stands for comprehensive access. The AFT Fuselage and Tail Section, which includes the APU Compartments, Vertical Stabiliser, and Rudder, require articulated platforms or Ultraraise units for meticulous work at height.
