Tu-204-100С

The Tupolev Tu-204-100C is a twin-engine medium-range freighter aircraft, derived from the Tu-204 airliner series. Designed in the Soviet Union to replace the Tu-154 trijet, the Tu-204 first flew on January 2, 1989, and the initial passenger version, the -100, entered service in February 1996 with Aeroflot. It was conceived to be broadly equivalent to the Boeing 757, offering competitive performance and fuel efficiency.

Tupolev, the manufacturer, is a foundational name in Russian aviation, tracing its history back through decades of design, producing both commercial and military aircraft. The Tu-204 family, including the freighter variant Tu-204-100C, is powered by Aviadvigatel PS-90 turbofan engines.

A range of platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintenance around this aircraft. Modular stepover platforms and bridge decks provide access across various sections like the Middle Fuselage and Wing Box Area, supporting oil maintenance and access to fuel tanks. For the nose section—including the radome, antenna, and cockpit windshield—items like the A-frame aviation platform and platform ladder are essential. The wing and engine pylon area, critical for engine checks (inlet/exhaust, fan, compressor, turbine) and hydraulics, requires robust solutions such as the super maintenance platform and cantilever platform. The ultraraise and super service stand are used for general access and work on the landing gear (NLG and MLG), forward fuselage, and the aft fuselage’s APU compartments and tail section components.
