TH-1F

The TH-1F Iroquois is a helicopter model from Bell Helicopter, a foundational manufacturer in the aviation industry. Bell Helicopter, originally founded in 1935 as Bell Aircraft Corporation, pioneered the development of rotary-wing aircraft. The UH-1 series, commonly known as the Huey, was paramount to this legacy; the original UH-1 was the first turbine-powered helicopter produced for the U.S. military, entering service in 1959.

The TH-1F is a derivative of the UH-1B, developed after Bell won a U.S. Air Force contract in June 1963 for a helicopter to support missile sites. This variant featured a larger, 48-foot diameter rotor and a more powerful turboshaft engine with 1,290 horsepower.
