TBM 700

The TBM 700 is a high-performance single-engine turboprop aircraft, representing a foundational platform in the Daher TBM series. It was initially developed through a collaboration between Mooney Aircraft and SOCATA (now Daher), leading to its production in France. The TBM 700 was notable for bringing jet-like performance to the single-engine general aviation market.

EADS Socata, the manufacturer, was part of the European aerospace conglomerate EADS (European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company). Socata itself has roots dating back to the French company Morane-Saulnier, and it has a long history in light aircraft manufacturing. The TBM 700 emerged as a success, with its initial production version, the 700A, featuring a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-64 engine. Later variants, such as the 700B introduced in 1999, included a wider entry door and improved capacity, ensuring the aircraft’s evolution to meet market demands.

Various access solutions are available to support maintenance across this aircraft. These solutions—including Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Super Service Stand—address maintenance requirements for critical sections. These products provide access for detailed work on the Nose Section (Radome, Avionics), Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), and the Wing & Engine Pylon areas (Engine components, Hydraulics, Fuel Tanks). Specialized Cantilever Platforms and Bridge Decks facilitate access to the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area and AFT Fuselage, ensuring thorough maintenance across the airframe.
