TB-200

The TB-200 aircraft, known as the Tobago, is a five-seat single-engine light aircraft. This type is recognized for its utility in private and light commercial transport. It is powered by a Lycoming IO-360-A1B6 engine and features retractable landing gear, distinguishing it within its class.

The manufacturer, Socata, was formally established in 1966 as a division of Groupe Sud-Aviation, succeeding the bankrupt Morane-Saulnier company, which was founded in 1911. By 1970, Socata became the light plane division of the newly created Groupe Aérospatiale. Throughout its history, the company has been a foundational contributor to French general aviation, specializing in the design and production of light aircraft such as the Trinidad family, which includes the TB-200. The company later evolved through various corporate changes, ultimately being absorbed into Daher’s aircraft division.

A range of platforms and access solutions are available for maintenance on this aircraft, assisting with essential access requirements. These platforms and stands are used for detailed servicing of aircraft sections like the Nose Section (including Radome and Avionics), the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), and the Wing & Engine area. Specialised access equipment helps support methodical work across the entire airframe, including the Forward Fuselage, Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, AFT Fuselage, and Tail Section (Empennage).
