T188C/A1

The T188C/A1 is part of the Cessna 188 series, a dedicated family of agricultural aircraft first designed to meet the demands of aerial application. Cessna, founded by Clyde Vernon Cessna in 1927, became a foundational American manufacturer, renowned for producing a wide range of light and business aircraft, including the widespread 188 models. The first Cessna 188 flew in 1965, with production commencing the following year.

The T188C AgHusky variant, certified in 1978, featured a turbocharged Continental TSIO-520-T engine delivering 310 hp. Production of the 188 series, used extensively for agricultural purposes, ended in 1985 after 3,976 units were built across all variants, including 385 AgHuskies. This model is characterized by its large hopper capacity of 280 US gallons.

Maintenance of this aircraft requires dependable access solutions. Platforms and stands are utilized for thorough upkeep of critical sections like the Wing & Engine Pylon, including the turbine and engine body, and the Tail Section for maintenance of the vertical and horizontal stabilisers. Stepover platforms and trestle scaffold systems offer efficient access for essential inspections across the fuselage and landing gear areas.
