Superjet SSJ100

The Superjet SSJ100 is a regional jet designed by Sukhoi, a foundational name in Russian aerospace. Development of this civil aircraft began in 2000, aiming to create the first entirely new post-Soviet commercial jet. The SSJ100 took its maiden flight on May 19, 2008, and entered commercial service with Armavia in April 2011. Since its inception, the aircraft has transitioned in name and management, now being known as the Yakovlev SJ-100, managed by the Regional Aircraft branch of United Aircraft Corporation/Yakovlev Corporation.

This 87-to-98 passenger aircraft is typically powered by two PowerJet SaM146 turbofans. The airframe design demands first-class access solutions for thorough maintenance across its key areas. Specialized access systems, such as elevated and modular platforms, are indispensable for servicing critical sections. These systems ensure detailed inspection of the Nose Section (including the radome and avionics), the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG), and the AFT Fuselage components (like the APU compartments).

Heavy-duty trestle scaffolds and service stands are utilized for the Wing & Engine Pylon area, facilitating access to components such as the fan, compressor, and turbine. For the Tail Section (Empennage), including the stabilizers and rudder, extended reach decks and cantilever platforms provide necessary height and safe positioning. These varied products support all required operational and maintenance tasks for this jet.
