SU-29

The SU-29 is a two-seat aerobatic aircraft developed by Sukhoi, primarily used for advanced pilot aerobatics education, flight training, and air show participation. Developed from the single-seat Sukhoi Su-26, the SU-29 first flew in 1991. The design incorporated composite materials extensively to achieve exceptional strength and maneuverability, making it a highly complex machine to operate.

Sukhoi was founded in 1939 by Pavel Sukhoi. The design bureau became renowned for its development of military and civil aircraft, notably a series of high-performance jet fighters. In 1997, the Russian government combined the OKB Sukhoi with its production plant and affiliates to form AVPK Sukhoi.

Access solutions, including the Reach Deck Platform and Modular Stepover Platforms, provide foundational support for many maintenance tasks. These access products are ideal for reaching the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit, Avionics), Forward Fuselage (Cabin Access, Lighting Systems), and General Access points. For Landing Gear (NLG and MLG) and elements of the Wing & Engine Pylon (Undercowl, Engine Body, Engine Flap), Super Service Stand, Ultraraise, and Easyraise offer stable elevation.

For methodical maintenance on higher sections like the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (Empennage, Vertical Stabiliser, Horizontal Stabiliser), Super Trestle Scaffold and Cantilever Platforms provide essential reach. Branach Fibreglass Platforms and Platform Ladder Warthog ensure safe, non-conductive access, while Bridge Deck and Modular Stepover Platforms allow safe transition over obstacles, such as the wing box area. Aviation Chock and Cone Trolleys help secure the aircraft.
