The SU-29 is a two-seat aerobatic aircraft developed by Sukhoi, primarily used for advanced pilot aerobatics education, flight training, and air show participation. Developed from the single-seat Sukhoi Su-26, the SU-29 first flew in 1991. The design incorporated composite materials extensively to achieve exceptional strength and maneuverability, making it a highly complex machine to operate.
Sukhoi was founded in 1939 by Pavel Sukhoi. The design bureau became renowned for its development of military and civil aircraft, notably a series of high-performance jet fighters. In 1997, the Russian government combined the OKB Sukhoi with its production plant and affiliates to form AVPK Sukhoi.

Branach Fibreglass Platforms and Platform Ladder Warthog ensure safe, non-conductive access, while Bridge Deck and Modular Stepover Platforms allow safe transition over obstacles, such as the wing box area.
