The Su-27UB Flanker-C is the two-seat trainer variant of the foundational Su-27 fighter, known for its superb maneuverability. It features two Lyulka AL-31F series afterburning turbofans, a range of 1,620 miles, and carries R-73 and R-27 missiles, plus a 30mm cannon. One such Flanker-C, built in 1989, served in the Soviet Navy and later the Ukrainian Air Force before being acquired by the US Air Force.
