The SNJ-4 is an advanced two-seat tandem trainer, a derivative of a 1935 U.S. Army trainer designated as the BT-9. This aircraft was foundational to pilot instruction across the U.S. Navy and other global air forces. It is part of a series that saw nearly 15,000 units built, cementing its role as one of the most iconic trainers in aviation history.
