SA.365N

The SA.365N Dauphin 2 is a foundational medium-weight, twin-engine helicopter. It was originally developed and manufactured by Aérospatiale, which later became part of Eurocopter, and is now known as Airbus Helicopters. The Dauphin family began production in the 1970s and quickly became recognized for its speed and fenestron (shrouded tail rotor) design. The SA.365N variant represents a significant upgrade, offering improved performance, a new rotor system, and more powerful engines, reinforcing its role across civilian and military missions worldwide, including search and rescue, emergency medical services, and transport.

Airbus Helicopters, the current parent manufacturer, traces its history through a series of mergers, most notably the 1992 formation of Eurocopter from the French and German divisions of Aérospatiale and Daimler-Benz Aerospace (DASA). This lineage established a world leader in the rotary-wing sector, focusing on innovation and versatility across their product lines.

Access solutions are required for the detailed, methodical maintenance this aircraft demands. Specialized height access platforms and stands support work across key zones like the Nose Section (radome and avionics access), Forward Fuselage (MED and cargo access), and the Tail Section (for the vertical and horizontal stabilizers). Full-coverage maintenance products are available, including platforms designed for engine access, fuel tank areas, and landing gear inspection. These access points are critical for maintaining the high standards of operational readiness.
