The S-92 was developed from the Sikorsky S-70, utilizing similar flight control and rotor systems. Maintenance platforms support detailed work across the Forward Fuselage (such as the Main Entry Door and Cargo/Baggage areas), the Landing Gear (Nose and Main), and the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area (including Fuel Tanks and Oil Maintenance). Specialized stands and platforms also ensure proper access for all aspects of the Wing & Engine Pylon and AFT Fuselage, supporting methodical inspections and component repair across the aircraft.
