S550

The S550 is a mid-sized business jet, part of the Citation V series produced by Cessna. The Citation line, renowned for setting the standard in corporate jet travel, began with the Citation I in 1972. The S550, specifically introduced as the Citation S/II, served as a significant upgrade to the original Citation II (Model 550), featuring supercritical wings for improved speed and fuel efficiency.

Cessna Aircraft Company, the manufacturer, was founded by Clyde Cessna in 1927 in Wichita, Kansas. The company is a foundational name in American aviation, recognized for producing a vast number of popular light and business aircraft globally. Cessna is now a subsidiary of Textron Aviation, continuing its legacy of high-performance aircraft.

A range of platforms and access solutions supports meticulous maintenance across the S550. These access solutions, including Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Ultraraise, facilitate servicing of critical aircraft sections. This includes the Nose Section (Radome, Antenna, Nose Avionics, Windshield & Cockpit, Bulkhead), Forward Fuselage, Landing Gear, Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area, Wing & Engine Pylon, AFT Fuselage, Tail Section (Empennage), and general access.
