S2R-T34

The S2R-T34, also known as the Turbo Thrush, is an agricultural aircraft manufactured by AYRES. The history of this aircraft traces back to the Thrush series. AYRES took over the type certificate, leading to the development of the S2R-T34. This model features a significant upgrade, incorporating a PT6A engine under a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC), making it one of the pioneering turbine applications for agricultural aviation.

Various platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintenance around this aircraft. Equipment such as modular stepover platforms, trestle scaffolding, and elevated work stands offer safe access to all critical sections. For the Nose Section, these products facilitate servicing the radome, antenna, and avionics. Access to the Forward Fuselage, including main entry door and environmental control system, is simplified.

Maintenance procedures involving the Landing Gear (NLG and MLG) and the complex Middle Fuselage/Wing Box Area, which houses fuel tanks and vital systems, require specialized access. The Wing and Engine Pylon areas, critical for engine inlet, exhaust, and hydraulics, are safely reached with these solutions. Furthermore, platforms aid in accessing the AFT Fuselage, including rear avionics and compartments, and the Tail Section (Empennage) for servicing the vertical and horizontal stabilizers and rudder. These solutions provide indispensable access for thorough maintenance across the entire aircraft.
