S2R-T15

The S2R-T15 is a model in the Thrush line of agricultural aircraft, produced by Ayres Corporation. Ayres, a company recognized for its commitment to the agricultural aviation sector, manufactured this series of sturdy, purpose-built aircraft. The Thrush family began under Rockwell International, but Ayres acquired the rights in 1981, continuing development and production of the rugged airframe designed for aerial application. The S2R-T15 typically features a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-15AG turbine engine. Aircraft from the 1990 production year, such as the S2R-T15, demonstrate the continued legacy of the dependable design.

Maintaining this aircraft requires precise access. Platforms and access solutions are utilized across major airframe sections. Examples include deck platforms, modular stepover platforms, and cantilever platforms. These specialized access tools assist maintenance requirements for areas such as the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit, Bulkhead), Forward Fuselage (Cabin Access, Environmental Control System), and Landing Gear (Nose Landing Gear and Main Landing Gear). Furthermore, the Middle Fuselage / Wing Box Area (Wing Box, Fuel Tanks) and the Wing & Engine Pylon (Engine access, Undercowl) require methodical access solutions. The Tail Section (Empennage) and Aft Fuselage also necessitate specialized stands for thorough inspection. These access products are foundational to safe, efficient maintenance of the S2R-T15.
