S2R-R1340

The Ayres S-2R Thrush, featuring the S2R-R1340 model, is part of a series of popular agricultural aircraft designed and manufactured by Ayres. The S2R-R1340 prototype was initially powered by a 448 kw (600 hp) R-1340 engine. The Ayres Corporation specialized in developing these durable aircraft, which are widely used for aerial application.
