S2R-G10

The S2R-G10 is a turbine-powered agricultural aircraft, part of the legendary Thrush family known for its efficiency and capability in aerial application tasks. The aircraft features a sturdy design for demanding operational environments, including systems like the Kawak Hydraulic Spray System and a 228-gallon fuel capacity.

The history of the S2R Thrush began with designer Leland Snow. While working at Rockwell-Standard, Snow developed the Model S-2R, naming it the Thrush. Initial production of the aircraft took place in Olney, Texas. By 1970, manufacturing was transferred to Georgia. Thrush Aircraft continues this legacy, specializing in the design and production of agricultural planes.

A range of access solutions facilitates thorough maintenance for the S2R-G10. For servicing the Nose Section, solutions such as the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, and Platform Ladder Warthog provide the necessary height. The Super Trestle Scaffold and Cantilever Platform are highly useful for Wing and Engine Pylon maintenance, addressing areas like the engine, hydraulics, and fuel systems. Access to the Tail Section (Empennage) and AFT Fuselage is supported by the Ultraraise and Super Service Stand. Specialized items, including the Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, are foundational for ensuring safe working conditions around the Landing Gear. The Branach Fibreglass Platform is suitable for general access tasks across the airframe.
