S1T

The S1T is part of the iconic Pitts Special family of biplanes, foundational to competitive aerobatics since its inception. Designer Curtis Pitts created the original single-seat S-1 in 1944. These aircraft quickly became renowned for their unparalleled agility and performance, dominating world aerobatic competition throughout the 1960s and 1970s. PITTS Aerobatics and successor companies, including Aviat, Inc., continued the production and development of the Pitts Special line, ensuring its enduring legacy as the standard for advanced aerobatic training.

A variety of platforms and access solutions support detailed maintenance for this high-performance biplane. Solutions such as the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, Super Service Stand, Easyraise, Bridge Deck, Cantilever Platform, Aviation Chock and Cone Trolley, Super Maintenance Platform, Fibreglass Platform, A Frame Aviation Platform, and Platform Ladder Warthog are utilized.
