S/T/M

The S/T/M is part of the Ryan ST series, a line of two-seat, low-wing monoplanes that served as popular sport aircraft and trainers for flight schools and militaries worldwide. The aircraft series was built by RYAN Aeronautical Company, an influential manufacturer in American aviation.

Ryan Aeronautical Company was founded by T. Claude Ryan, who gained initial renown for building the Ryan M-1 mailplanes and, most famously, the Spirit of St. Louis. The company began producing the ST (Sport Trainer) series in the United States, utilizing metal fuselages and wooden wings to create sturdy and reliable aircraft. The series proved foundational, establishing RYAN Aeronautical’s reputation for high-quality production trainers.

Access solutions are indispensable for the detailed maintenance of this aircraft series. Platforms, stands, and scaffolds, including Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Cantilever Platform, support access across the airframe. These products provide stable height access for areas like the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit, Bulkhead), Wing & Engine Pylon (Engine, Fuel Tanks/Pumps), and Tail Section (Vertical Stabiliser, Horizontal Stabiliser). Specialized stands and platforms support thorough inspections of the Landing Gear (NLG, MLG), and the forward and aft fuselage sections.
