PZL-104

The PZL-104 Wilga is a sturdy Polish utility aircraft, renowned for its excellent short take-off and landing (STOL) performance. Designed for various roles, including sport parachuting, glider towing, and agricultural work, the Wilga first flew in 1962. It achieved widespread popularity globally and has undergone numerous upgrades throughout its life.

The aircraft was manufactured by PZL WARSZAWA – OKECIE, historically known as Państwowe Zakłady Lotnicze (PZL). This foundational Polish aerospace company operated as the central design and production hub for many nationally developed aircraft. While the company structure changed over time, the Okęcie plant was instrumental in the long production run of the PZL-104, contributing significantly to post-war Polish aviation.

A range of platforms and access solutions support detailed maintenance around the PZL-104. Solutions like the Reach Deck Platform, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, Ultraraise, and Easyraise are foundational for comprehensive access. These products ensure maintenance staff can service critical areas across the aircraft. This includes methodical work on the Nose Section (Windshield & Cockpit), the Forward Fuselage (Cabin Access, Cargo/Baggage), Landing Gear, and the Tail Section (Vertical and Horizontal Stabilisers).
