PL-12/T-300A

The PL-12/T-300A Airtruk is an unusual but highly effective agricultural aircraft designed for aerial application. Transavia, the manufacturer, began its history in 1957 in Australia, founded by Peter F. Finlayson. The company focused on developing specialized agricultural aircraft. The Airtruk design, characterized by its twin-boom structure and high-mounted cockpit, was derived from the earlier Bennett Airtruck (PL-11) and first flew in 1965.

This distinctive aircraft requires detailed, methodical access for maintenance. Platforms and access solutions can support maintenance across various aircraft sections. The Reach Deck Platform and Modular Stepover Platforms are effective for the Forward Fuselage, assisting with cabin access and environmental control system work. For the Wing & Engine Pylon section, which requires first-class access for the engine body, fan, and turbine, solutions like the Super Trestle Scaffold and Super Maintenance Platform provide sturdy, wide-access coverage.

The Super Service Stand and Ultraraise are valuable for the Landing Gear (NLG + MLG). For the Tail Section (Empennage), particularly the vertical and horizontal stabilizers, the Bridge Deck and Cantilever Platform offer necessary outreach and access. Finally, the Platform Ladder Warthog provides general access solutions for the entire airframe.
