PC-7

The Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer is a low-wing, tandem-seat training aircraft designed and manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft in Switzerland. Pilatus Aircraft developed the PC-7 from the preceding piston-powered Pilatus P-3. The key difference was the adoption of a turboprop engine, a new one-piece wing, and a bubble canopy. The prototype’s first flight occurred in 1966, but the production model was introduced in 1978. Since then, the PC-7 has become a foundational aircraft in the global trainer market, with over 618 units built and serving numerous military and civilian operators worldwide.

A range of specialized access solutions supports the thorough and methodical maintenance of the PC-7. Platforms such as the Reach Deck, Modular Stepover Platforms, Super Trestle Scaffold, and Ultraraise provide access to all critical sections.

For the Nose Section and Forward Fuselage, platforms allow maintenance teams to reach the Radome, Avionics, and Cabin Access points. Stair and bridge access solutions are essential for routine tasks on the Landing Gear, addressing both the Nose Landing Gear (NLG) and Main Landing Gear (MLG).

Access to the Wing & Engine Pylon areas, including the engine inlet/exhaust, fan, compressor, turbine, and fuel systems, is facilitated by stands and Cantilever Platforms. These solutions also aid in servicing the Middle Fuselage/Wing Box areas, including fuel tanks and oil maintenance points. For the AFT Fuselage and Tail Section (Empennage), tall, strong stands provide workers with necessary height for work on the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizers.
