PC-12/47E

The PC-12/47E, often known as the PC-12 NG, is an updated version of Pilatus’ foundational single-engine turboprop aircraft. Certified in 2005, the PC-12/47E built on the success of earlier PC-12 variants. Innovative features include a larger thermodynamically rated Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67P engine, an improved electrical system with a second generator, and the advanced Honeywell APEX avionics system. This variant maintains the line’s reputation for versatility, serving as a corporate transport, cargo aircraft, and special mission platform.

Pilatus Aircraft, the Swiss manufacturer, was founded in 1939. While the company’s early projects were military-oriented trainers, the launch of the PC-12 program in the 1990s marked Pilatus’s principal focus on the civil market. The PC-12 first flew in 1991 and was introduced in 1994. The aircraft has achieved success globally, with over 2,000 units built since its inception, cementing Pilatus’s role as a leading aircraft designer and manufacturer.

Access solutions, such as platform ladders, Super Maintenance Platforms, and Cantilever Platforms, are indispensable for maintaining the PC-12/47E. They ensure thorough access to critical areas. For instance, these products support detailed work on the Wing & Engine Pylon section, specifically the Engine, Hydraulics, and Undercowl components. They also provide comprehensive coverage for maintenance in the Tail Section, supporting technicians working on the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilisers and the Rudder. Modular access platforms are also ideal for service needs across the Forward and AFT Fuselage, including the cargo doors and rear avionics bays.
