PC-12/47

The PC-12/47 is an advanced variant of the Pilatus PC-12, a foundational single-engine turboprop aircraft. Certified in 2005, the PC-12/47 incorporates important upgrades including the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67B engine and an increased maximum takeoff weight of 4,740 kg. It also features updated cockpit switch layouts and minor revisions to wingtips and cabin heating systems. This model is recognized globally for its versatility, operating reliably across corporate, regional transport, and specialized military roles.

Pilatus Aircraft was established in Stans, Switzerland, on December 16, 1939. Historically focused on niche aerospace markets, the company gained renown for its exceptional short takeoff and landing (STOL) aircraft, such as the PC-6 Porter, and military trainers like the PC-7. The PC-12 represents the manufacturer’s first aircraft primarily targeting the civil market, with production spanning from 1991 to the present. The continued development of the PC-12 family, culminating in variants like the PC-12/47, cemented Pilatus’s reputation for engineering dependable and high-performance turboprops.
