PC-12

The Pilatus PC-12 is a foundational single-engine turboprop aircraft, recognized globally as a reliable and versatile aerial asset. Manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft, this aircraft is capable of meeting numerous mission requirements for a diverse customer base, including military and private operators. The series has evolved through models like the PC-12 NG and the PC-12NGX, consistently demonstrating sturdy and noteworthy performance.

Pilatus Aircraft originated in 1939 in Stans, Switzerland, as a branch of the armament company Oerlikon-Bührle, tasked with maintenance for the Swiss Air Force. Located near Mount Pilatus, the company launched its first successful model, the PC-6 Porter, in 1959. This heritage established the manufacturer’s commitment to utility and performance, paving the way for the development of the PC-12.

Various platforms and access solutions are utilized for maintenance across the PC-12. Modular Stepover Platforms and Cantilever Platforms provide essential access for the Wing & Engine Pylon section, addressing areas like the engine, anti-ice systems, and fuel components. Stands such as the Super Service Stand and Super Maintenance Platform offer thorough access for the Fuselage, including the Cargo/Baggage, Cabin Access, and Avionics areas. Specialized platforms and ladder stands assist with detailed work on the Nose Section (Radome, Windshield) and Tail Section (Stabilizers, Rudder). Chock and Cone Trolleys provide support during maintenance near the Landing Gear, while platforms ensure optimal reach for all General Access points.
