PA-46-350P

The PA-46-350P, commonly known as the Malibu Mirage, is a pressurized piston-engined aircraft manufactured by Piper Aircraft. Production for this model began in October 1988 for the 1989 model year, featuring a powerful Lycoming TIO-540-AE2A 350 hp engine and a new wing design. It remains notable as one of the few pressurized piston aircraft currently in production, offering extended range and a comfortable cabin experience.

Piper Aircraft, the foundational manufacturer, was established by William T. Piper in 1937, leading to the birth of the iconic Piper Cub. Over the decades, the company has played an indispensable role in general aviation, introducing successful models like the PA-23 Apache and PA-46 Malibu, continuing its legacy of producing first-class single-engine and twin-engine aircraft.

A variety of platforms and access solutions assist with maintenance on this aircraft. Equipment such as the Reach Deck Platform and Modular Stepover Platforms facilitate meticulous access to areas like the Wing & Engine Pylon for work on the engine body and flap, or the Tail Section for maintenance on the vertical and horizontal stabilisers. Stands like the Super Maintenance Platform provide safe access to the Nose Section for radome and avionics work, and the Forward Fuselage for cabin and cargo access, ensuring thorough support for all maintenance requirements.
