PA-38-112

The PA-38-112 Tomahawk is a two-seat, fixed tricycle gear general aviation aircraft. It was primarily engineered for flight training and personal touring. Distinctive features include its low-wing configuration and T-tail.

PIPER Aircraft developed the Tomahawk to provide an economical two-place trainer. Established as a leading American aircraft manufacturer, the company has a foundational history in general aviation, consistently producing popular aircraft for decades. The Tomahawk was introduced as a 1978 model and saw production from 1978 to 1982. This run resulted in a total of 2,484 units built, cementing the PA-38’s role in flight schools globally. Variants from 1981 and 1982 were often designated as the Tomahawk II.
